An interesting episode with an interesting twist, about an old man who could help people by giving them small things that they needed. One man took abuse of him and to get things to improve his own life. It’s a well done episode but not one that stands out above others.

This is one of those episodes that is a bit of a slow burner but the great performances in it are what make it so great. The story is about three men who came back from space, but one by one begin to disappear without a trace without anyone being able to recollect them. It’s a fascinating tale of the possibility of things going right when they shouldn’t have. It reminds me of a classic version of Final Destination.
An episode that is a slow burner and not overly exciting until the end, but has a magnificent plot twist and lead performance. The story is about a man on a ship paying for his past sins, he is in hell but doesn’t know about it and has a strange feeling of Deja Vu.
A really fantastic episode about a man who thinks he’ll die if he falls asleep. The episode is structured like a movie and the dreams are haunting and enchanting. It’s a superbly done episode with great directing and music. One of my favorites from the first season.
A neat and somewhat frustrating episode about a little man who only wished to have time enough to read. And when he finally got his wish, he was struck by the worst kind of luck. One of the things this episode most excelled at was the apocalyptic look. It’s a very expensive looking episode for a story as simple as it was. Very well done.
The first episode that I don’t really care about, it’s about a lonesome man imprisoned on an empty planet. He is given a beautiful robot girl to keep him company and he falls for her reluctantly. Robot stories rarely work for me and this is no exception, didn’t get much out of it and there was no twist like with most episodes.
This is a pretty solid episode and the first to introduce the Devil. The suicide attempts are pretty well done but the lead character is quite a nuisance. It’s one of those episodes that are good but easy to overlook.
Perhaps one of the best episodes of the first season. In it, a man of current time tries to escape his life by visiting his old town. He unknowingly travels back in time into his youth but there can only be one of him at the same time. This episode has a neat little message that sometimes it’s better to move on but find things in your current life that once made you happy.
This episode is a poor man’s Sunset Boulevard with a Twilight Zone twist. It looks good and it works, but it’s somehow a tad forgettable. The story is about a once-big actress who wants to relive her glory days, and in the end she does get her wish.
The first western wasn’t a very memorable one. Great performances and directing, but the story never quite hits on. I only like it for production purposes, it’s a great looking episode.
