Hey yall, these are some of my favorite characters of the past one and a half year.
21: Juan Borgia, The Borgias |
I love him because he’s so detestable and because he stole my first name (the main reason why he’s on the list). |
20: Dr. Orpheus, The Venture Bros. |
BECAUSE HE YELLS EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF HIS MOUTH. So over dramatic. |
19: Annie Talarico, Treme |
Can’t find a thing that’s wrong with her. |
18: Tate Langdon, American Horror Story |
What’s better than a psychotic angsty ghost? |
17: Amy Jellicoe, Enlightened |
My new favorite unstable person. So awkward it hurts. |
16: Schmidt, New Girl |
What happened? Schmidt happened. |
15: Daenerys Targaryen, Game of Thrones |
The best damn thing about Game of Thrones, she is raising dragons for god’s sake! |
14: Chalky White, Boardwalk Empire |
He was badass in Baltimore and now in the 1920s. |
13: Peggy Olson, Mad Men |
Peggy is on her way to become one of the best developed characters on tv. Strong feminist without even realizing it. |
12: Sterling Archer, Archer |
An un-pc cartoon version of Don Draper. |
11: Dexter Morgan, Dexter |
The show just isn’t what it used to be, but Dexter remains one cool serial killer. |
10: Troy Barnes, Community |
Hilarious and over-the-top enthusiastic. Troy is like the life version of a Japanese cartoon character. |
09: Brock Samson, The Venture Bros. |
Perhaps my all time favorite animated character, Chuck Norris couldn’t take him. |
08: Pete Campbell, Mad Men |
Pete has become one of the most complex characters on tv. He isn’t the most likeable, but i love trying to figure out what makes him tick. |
07: Jimmy Darmody, Boardwalk Empire |
I think that he was one of the few true good guys despite his murderous existence. He was just born at the wrong place, wrong time. |
06: Nancy Botwin, weeds |
Even though Weeds should have ended a long time ago, Nancy never fails to captivate me. |
05: Lucretia, Spartacus |
Best femme fatale on tv for quite a while. Lucretia was vicious and delicious. |
04: Joan Holloway, Mad Men |
Joan transformed from a hilarious mean bitch to a loveable strong woman that says what’s on her mind. |
03: Abed Nadir, Community |
The funniest and most godly character on tv. My dream is to become a poor man’s version of a poor man’s version of his. |
02: Richard Harrow, Boardwalk Empire |
I haven’t loved a character this much since Mad Men premiered! He is deeply complex and his personality does not match his exterior. |
01: Don Draper, Mad Men |
My favorite character for the past 5 years, so this shouldn’t be too big of a surprise. I have loved the Don Draper journey and embraced this new happy version of himself. Also the sad Don Draper tumblr page is the best thing in the universe: http://saddondraper.tumblr.com/ |
